It is part of the series 'One Year of Newspaper Clippings'. However, it is taking me much time to even start with the open verse. I hope I get it done.

Would I get a copy of the book you suggested (Half of a Yellow Sun) at the Accra Mall?ImageNationshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06021414643103601330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11894178.post-24859558227283850182009-06-09T08:49:07.809+00:002009-06-09T08:49:07.809+00:00Candid and to the point as usual Novisi!! It has only been in recent years that France has felt compelled in some way to
investigate the Bongo family assets as you blogged about.Abena Serwaahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05888021677219851484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11894178.post-43734954165454882382009-06-09T08:41:53.860+00:002009-06-09T08:41:53.860+00:00So true Posekyere, what is it about power that mak...So true Posekyere, what is it about power that makes hanging on for dear life so appealing?
Now that it is official that Mr. Bongo is dead, I'm sure the Mugabes, Biyas of Africa are questioning their own immortality.Abena Serwaahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05888021677219851484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11894178.post-32572451820366928762009-06-08T21:31:21.760+00:002009-06-08T21:31:21.760+00:00down with Omar Bongo!

Gabon could have been the success story on sub-saharan African. They still can. But French influences will rather keep the masses poor and looking up to France.Kodjohttp://princeofadovoria.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11894178.post-35290067338738559432009-06-08T12:40:53.154+00:002009-06-08T12:40:53.154+00:00Thanks Abena for informing us.

Long Live Gabon!
As Chinua Achebe wrote "...old men become uneasy when dry bones are mentioned in proverbs",Mr Mugabe, Mr Biya and Mr Gadaffi will hear of Mr Bongo's passing and become more than uneasy.
